The B.C. government is investing $515,000 in a pilot training program designed to support Aboriginal digital skills development and greater participation in B.C.’s rapidly growing technology sector.

The B.C. government and the BC Innovation Council (BCIC) have welcomed new partner Bioenterprise BC to the BC Acceleration Network (BCAN) to support the growth of innovative agri-tech businesses in the province.

The Province will provide an additional 88 units of transitional housing and shelter, as well as 40 rent supplements for campers currently residing at the Victoria courthouse lawns.

Operating grants to public post-secondary education institutions continue to be aligned with education and training for in-demand occupations, with an additional $90 million targeted in 2015-16.
