The British Columbia government is eliminating tuition fees on Adult Basic Education (ABE) and English Language Learning (ELL) programs, opening the door for tens of thousands of people to upgrade their education and skills every year.

Saying it’s time to restore the voice of Vancouver parents and citizens in how their schools are run, Education Minister Rob Fleming has announced a board of education byelection for Oct. 14, 2017.

Government has confirmed over $355 million in funding allocations for all 60 school districts to restore class size and composition language under the agreement with the British Columbia Teachers' Federation (BCTF).
