The ministers of Environment and Energy and Mines have approved the Giscome Quarry and Lime Plant project, located 27 kilometres from Prince George.

British Columbia joined Washington, Oregon and California in officially forming the International Alliance to Combat Ocean Acidification.

Through the Province’s expanded Invasive Mussel Defence Program, crews have inspected a record 24,500 watercraft for invasive quagga and zebra mussels this boating season, helping B.C. to remain free of invasive mussels.
