George Heyman, Minister of Environment and Climate Change Strategy, has issued the following statement with respect to climate strikes happening around the province and the world:

On Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019, on shorelines throughout the province, British Columbians will gather to clean up debris and help tackle plastic pollution.

The Province has released the annual inventory of greenhouse gas emissions numbers for 2017.

Because of the popularity of the CleanBC engagement about what the Province could do to ban, reduce and recycle more plastics, the Province has extended the comment period.

BC Parks is celebrating Canada’s Parks Day with two unique projects that provide more opportunities for people to experience the great outdoors.

Eleven building projects have been selected as winners in a juried competition to support the design and construction of energy-efficient buildings.
