Smoke from the Cherry Creek prescribed burn will remain visible in the surrounding area as residual fuels behind the well-established containment lines continue to burn.

The Wildfire Management Branch responded to three new wildfires over the weekend in the Cassiar Fire Zone, located in the extreme northwest corner of the province.
