The Province is partnering with the Northwest BC Resource Benefits Alliance (RBA) to bring a new community funding agreement benefiting people living and working in northwestern B.C.  

Local governments and First Nations in 28 communities have been approved to receive their share of more than $1 million in provincial emergency preparedness funding to support evacuation route planning.

Local governments will benefit from nearly $1.5 million in provincial grants for developing housing needs reports to plan for long-term housing needs and support strong local economies.

Communities on the North Coast are receiving a combined $19.7 million from the Province to help address long-standing infrastructure needs and support planning for future development opportunities.

Communities in the Bulkley-Nechako region are receiving a combined $37.5 million from the Province to help address long-standing infrastructure needs and support planning for future opportunities.

Communities in the Kitimat-Stikine region are receiving a combined $20.4 million from the Province to help address long-standing infrastructure needs and support planning for future opportunities.

Communities in the Fraser-Fort George region are receiving a combined $22.3 million from the Province to help address long-standing infrastructure needs and support planning for future opportunities.
