The latest international visitor arrival numbers show an increase for British Columbia’s tourism sector.

The Province is investing $30,000 in the Goodlife Fitness Victoria Marathon to help welcome approximately 9,000 participants, their supporters and volunteers to Victoria, announced Lisa Beare, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture.

As part of the $1.1-million provincial investment to assist tourism in wildfire-affected areas, the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture is encouraging British Columbians to lend their support by visiting these areas over the Thanksgiving long weekend.
