The BC Arts Council is accepting applications from arts and culture organizations for two funding programs with deadlines in January.

The BC Arts Council is distributing close to $5 million to more than 400 artists and arts organizations in 57 communities throughout the province.

Last month, resignations of three municipal councillors left the Village of McBride council without quorum.

Revamped and improved guidelines are now available to support not-for-profit organizations when applying for funding through the B.C. government’s Community Gaming Grants program.

The B.C. government has awarded the Indus Media Foundation a one-time grant of $248,500 to share South Asian heritage through exhibition displays and learning tools intended for B.C. schools and community spaces.
