Residents and interested parties will soon have an opportunity to take part in the B.C. coastal ferries consultation and engagement process.

A new roundabout at the intersection of South Shore Road and North Shore Road in Lake Cowichan will be constructed to improve motorist and pedestrian safety, as a result of a partnership between the government of B.C. and the Town of Lake Cowichan.

Registration with TReO, the tolling system on the new Port Mann Bridge, has been open only since Sept. 17, but more than 200,000 vehicles have already been registered for electronic tolling accounts and decals.
