People who use handyDART in the Cowichan Valley will see improved service as a result of increased service hours that introduce a basic Sunday service and extend weekday hours.

People who use transit in Kamloops will see better transit options as a result of increased hours, expanded handyDART services and improved routes.

Beginning Jan. 1, 2018, annual bus passes will be available to people on disability assistance through a new transportation supplement.

2016 was a year of historic investments in transit for Metro Vancouver. It began with a commitment by the Government of British Columbia for approximately a quarter of a billion dollars ($246 million) over three years for significant transit improvements and expansions in Metro Vancouver.
