Work is underway to replace the 61-year-old Salmon River Bridge on Highway 97 north of Prince George, Mike Morris, MLA for Prince George-McKenzie, and Shirley Bond, MLA for Prince George-Valemount, announced on behalf of Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Todd Stone.

The Government of British Columbia is moving ahead with a project to upgrade ramps at the Glade ferry terminal in advance of the arrival of the new cable ferry, which connects the community to Highway 3A.  

Work is now complete to replace a small, local bridge on Kamloops Lake Drive near the west end of Kamloops Lake.

The Government of British Columbia and BC Ferries are committing to a seasonal direct ferry service between Port Hardy and Bella Coola to support Aboriginal tourism and the mid-coast economy.
