David Eby, Attorney General, has released the following statement to recognize Access to Justice Week, Jan. 24 to Jan. 30, 2021:

Thousands more people in rural and Indigenous communities are benefiting from improved high-speed internet thanks to provincial investments in connectivity infrastructure projects.

The Province is supporting Indigenous communities and organizations to end gender-based violence through 20 unique projects that support and collaborate with Indigenous women and girls throughout B.C.

People in communities across northern, coastal and central B.C. will benefit from new clean energy projects and transportation infrastructure that will create jobs, support local economies and help meet CleanBC’s goals of a cleaner, stronger province.

More than 70 farmers from throughout British Columbia have found new opportunities in farming communities through the B.C. Land Matching Program (BCLMP).

Twenty-four local governments and First Nations communities have been approved to receive $3.46 million in provincial emergency preparedness funding.

A library renewal project at Coast Mountain College (CMTN) in Terrace will create construction-related jobs for regional businesses and tradespeople.
