A funding partnership between the City of Revelstoke and the Province to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion through a major intersection in this community was announced by Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Todd Stone.

Grand Forks and Osoyoos airports will receive $225,000 in combined funding from the B.C. Air Access Program.

Powell River will receive $183,869 in BikeBC funding this year for cycling infrastructure improvements in the community.

Kelowna International Airport will receive $1 million in funding this year from the B.C. Air Access Program for apron rehabilitation.

As part of the Province’s investment of over $80 million in emergency preparedness and public safety, MLA for West Vancouver-Sea to Sky Jordan Sturdy announced support for flood prevention projects on behalf of Minister of State for Emergency Preparedness Naomi Yamamoto.

Cumberland will receive $151,735 in BikeBC funding this year for the Bevan Road and Cumberland Road cycling upgrades.

The City of Dawson Creek will receive $83,294 in BikeBC funding this year for the 10th Street multi-use path extension.

Kelowna will receive $777,435 in BikeBC funding this year for the Okanagan Rail Trail (Dilworth Drive to Airport Way).

Nanaimo and Parksville will receive a combined sum of $272,470 in BikeBC funding this year, announced MLA for Parksville-Qualicum Beach Michelle Stilwell on behalf of Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Todd Stone.
