From Cache Creek to Trail, 14 communities in the Interior are receiving age-friendly grants to support British Columbia seniors, so they can live active, safe, socially engaged and independent lives.

Environment Canada has issued warnings and special weather statements for the Southern Interior, as heavy snowfall is expected on many British Columbia highways within the next 24 hours.

As part of the Quesnel Transportation Plan study, which is assessing highway safety and traffic flow through the community, summary results of two public consultation sessions and online feedback are now available at: www.gov.bc.ca/quesneltransportationstudy
