The Province is making affordable, quality child care more accessible for families in Smithers by investing in 42 new spaces.  

Strong winds in the Cassiar Fire Zone on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2019, prompted increased fire activity and caused two of the more prominent wildfires within the Northwest Fire Centre to grow.
