Minister of State for Small Business Naomi Yamamoto is asking the public to join in on a Twitter town hall to talk about small business in B.C. and the B.C. Small Business Accord.

Why It Matters:

The public is encouraged to chat with the Minister of State on Twitter to help inform government about what it should focus on to make it easier for business to do business. The feedback received will also help determine if those recommendations require new programs or policy changes.

• The Twitter town hall takes place Oct. 30, 2012 from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. using Twitter hash tag #BCBizChat
• Until Nov. 9, 2012, citizens can also share their thoughts on the B.C. Small Business Accord in an online survey on the BC Jobs Plan website at:
