Minister of State for Small Business Naomi Yamamoto will host a Twitter town hall for B.C. women entrepreneurs to discuss the climate for small business in the province.
Why It Matters:
Participants are encouraged to join the conversation with Yamamoto on Twitter to help inform government about what it should focus on to make it easier for women entrepreneurs to do business here in B.C.
Women will have the opportunity to share their entrepreneurial experiences, identify challenges they have dealt with as a female in business, provide advice for women looking to become business owners, and inform others of mentoring programs or resources that they have found helpful.
This event helps celebrate International Women's Day on March 8. The feedback received will inform the government if new programs or policy changes could be examined.
