Booking influenza, COVID-19 vaccinations

People who are registered in the provincial Get Vaccinated system will automatically receive an invitation to book their influenza and COVID-19 immunizations online when they become due.

Those who are not registered yet are encouraged to do so by visiting:
https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/covid-19/vaccine/register

Although booking through the Get Vaccinated system is the most efficient way to access the vaccines, people can phone the provincial call centre (toll-free at 1 833 838-2323) to book an appointment or ask questions about their influenza and or COVID-19 immunizations.

Seniors will continue to receive enhanced influenza vaccines free of charge, which offer them better protection against influenza than standard-dose vaccines. The enhanced vaccines stimulate stronger immune responses to compensate for the natural weakening of the immune system that occurs with age. A stronger immune response can help seniors achieve better protection against influenza.

People who want to receive influenza and COVID-19 vaccines will be able to book an immunization appointment when they receive their invitation. If their preferred appointment date and time are not unavailable, they are asked to check at a later date as more appointments will be added as more inventory arrives.

COVID-19 vaccines are updated every season to reflect common circulating variants, and this year have been updated to include the LP.8.1. variant.
