Drivers are advised that crews are temporarily closing the Alex Fraser Bridge for public safety reasons as snow and ice have been observed shedding from the outside cables into both traveling lanes.

Up to 29 British Columbians in Delta are getting the training they need for jobs in their community, thanks to a federal-provincial partnership under the Canada-B.C. Job Fund Agreement.

School District 37 in Delta will receive $40,000 in funding for the Youth Work in Trades program to boost trades training for young people in the province.

Students, teachers and staff at 27 schools in the Delta school district will benefit from $229,600 in provincial School Enhancement Program funding.  

Local residents and visitors are able to enjoy local, fresh flavours grown and produced all year round in Delta.

Families in the Delta school district will benefit from improved transportation services, thanks to $41,933 in funding under the new provincial Student Transportation Fund.
