Commuters are advised the northbound fast lane of Highway 99 at the 152nd St. underpass in Surrey is open following an incident Monday where an over-height commercial vehicle struck the underpass.

The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure is planning to replace the Bailey bridge which crosses the Nicomekl River on King George Boulevard.

The travelling public is advised that the Bailey Bridge which crosses the Nicomekl River on King George Boulevard has been temporarily closed to traffic for necessary repair work.

Students in the Surrey School District will benefit from $5.3 million in provincial funding for school upgrade projects and classroom supplies, MLA Stephanie Cadieux announced on behalf of Education Minister Mike Bernier.
