Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Todd Stone has released the following statement on adding an additional seat to the Victoria Regional Transit Commission, and appointing Sooke Mayor Maja Tait to that role:

The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure has committed to re-paving the Prince Rupert Arterial at Second Avenue and McBride from the BC Ferries terminal to McClymont Bridge.

The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure will be replacing the Ksi Sii Aks (Tseax) Bridge on Highway 113.

Rolla Road (known locally as Snake Pit Road) has now re-opened with the completion of a temporary bridge replacement over the road.
