Work will soon be underway to replace the Crassier Creek Bridge near Chetwynd.

The Government of British Columbia is providing $2.5 million to the Peace River Regional District (PRRD) to undertake debris removal and preventative work, designed to reduce flood risk in the region.

The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure has completed work on a $1.15-million seismic retrofit and deck resurfacing project for the 15th Street overpass on Highway 1, which crosses above 15th Street in West Vancouver.

Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Todd Stone has released the following statement on the partial re-opening of Highway 99, 17 kilometres east of Lillooet:

A project to stabilize a rock slope on Highway 31 north of Kaslo, in the vicinity of Lost Ledge Provincial Park, is now complete.

Yesterday crews conducted the final large scale rock-clearing blast, marking a significant construction milestone on the Trans-Canada Highway four-laning project located approximately 40 kilometres east of Kamloops. 

Motorists are reminded that the new Tsawwassen Mills development (located on Tsawwassen First Nations' land in Delta) will officially open this morning.

Improving the safety and reliability of the Highway 97 Cariboo Connector continues, with the section of four-laning between Dragon Lake Road and Quartz Road south of Quesnel now complete.
