The previously planned schedule for work this weekend has been delayed until Aug. 14-16, 2015, inclusive.

Drivers, pedestrians and cyclists are advised to expect delays on the Lions Gate Bridge from Aug. 5 – 9, 2015, inclusive for nighttime repaving of the Lions Gate Bridge north approach viaduct.

Drivers, pedestrians and cyclists are advised that the Ironworkers Memorial Second Narrows Bridge on Highway 1 will be closed on July 28, 2015, from approximately 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. for the installation of new overhead signs.

The $7.6-million project to replace joints and bearings on the Lions Gate Bridge north approach viaduct is now complete and residents in the area should notice traffic crossing the bridge is much quieter as a result of these upgrades.

As part of the joint replacement work taking place on the north approach viaduct, there will be additional lane closures on the Lions Gate Bridge starting the week of Jan. 19.

Tonight, workers will begin removing and replacing the joints on the north viaduct of the Lions Gate Bridge.

The RBC GranFondo Whistler Cycling event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014. Motorists can expect possible delays on Highway 99 of up to three hours from West Vancouver to Whistler.

Improvements to the Lions Gate Bridge North Approach Viaduct will begin the first week of July.

Motorists are advised of the planned full closure of Highway 1 at the Ironworkers Memorial Second Narrows Bridge on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, from 1 a.m. until 5 a.m.

Survey work is scheduled to begin this month to assist in identifying safety improvement options to make the Stanley Park Causeway safer for pedestrians and cyclists.
