The Government of British Columbia has underscored its commitment to work with Indigenous peoples in the spirit of respect and collaboration by introducing a set of draft principles designed to guide the daily work of provincial government employees. Don Wright, head of the BC Public Service shared the draft principles with all 27,000 public service employees on Tuesday, May 22, 2018.

Modern, safe and efficient roadways are crucial to encouraging economic activity, facilitating trade, and creating good paying, middle-class jobs. They help Canadians arrive safely at their destinations and businesses efficiently move their goods to domestic and international markets.

Construction of the new Philip Avenue overpass south of West 1st Street in North Vancouver is now complete and will open to vehicle and pedestrian traffic on July 6.
