Holocaust survivors recounted their personal stories in a ceremony at the B.C. Parliament Buildings to remember the six million Jewish people who were murdered by the Nazis between 1933 and 1945.

Budget 2019 is creating opportunities for all British Columbians by delivering a new B.C. Child Opportunity Benefit for kids up to the age of 18, removing interest from B.C. student loans, reducing taxes for businesses and investing in clean energy and climate solutions.

The Province of British Columbia and the City of Vancouver are joining together to have Vancouver’s Chinatown  designated as a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage site, because of its outstanding universal value.
