The Province is seeking nominations to honour individuals and organizations that are strengthening multiculturalism and fighting against discrimination throughout British Columbia.

Premier John Horgan and Rachna Singh, Parliamentary Secretary for Anti-Racism Initiatives, have issued the following statement on the 73rd anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration on Human Rights by the United Nations (UN) General Assembly:

Community organizations throughout B.C. are receiving funding to help them engage their members on race-based data collection as the Province moves forward with anti-racism data legislation.

Community organizations can now submit applications for the 2021-22 multiculturalism grants program as the Province extends support for projects tackling racism and discrimination.
