The Province is sending fire-fighting resources to Boise, Idaho and Missoula, Montana. Two airtankers, one birddog, and one air attack officer left for Boise, Idaho to assist local crews in their fire-fighting efforts. They are expected to help combat a number of fires that are currently burning in the state.

Fire wardens and other fire officials will be patrolling the Southeast Fire Centre this weekend to ensure campfire safety and compliance.
These patrols will target high-risk areas and ensure enforcement within areas such as Boundary and Christina Lake, where 26 abandoned campfires have been found this season.
