Addendum to the Draft Columbia River Treaty 2014 Review Technical Studies Report

BC Hydro analysts recently completed additional analyses undertaken in response to feedback received during First Nations and public consultations. During the consultation processes, the Columbia River Treaty Review Team heard a strong desire from residents living around the Arrow Lakes Reservoir to further investigate a mid-elevation constant pool alternative for the Reservoir. In addition, First Nations and many people across the Basin expressed a desire for further investigation of an ecosystem wide alternative. As a result of this feedback the Treaty Review team requested the BC Hydro project analysts to model these two additional alternatives. The technical report on these alternatives is available here.
