Basin Residents Invited to November Consultation Meetings

The Province’s Columbia River Treaty Review Team, together with the Columbia River Treaty Local Governments’ Committee, invites Basin residents to attend a community consultation meeting during the first week of November. The meeting will start at 6:30 pm with the Treaty Review Team providing updates on the latest analysis completed by BC Hydro. The Province will also be doing a presentation and seeking input from residents on the draft recommendation on the future of the Treaty and the draft public consultation report summarizing Basin residents’ input to date. At 8:00 pm there will be a Local Governments’ Committee presentation and discussion as they seek feedback on their draft recommendations to government.
