During public consultation meetings Basin residents urged the Columbia River Treaty Review Team to use more social media to communicate with Columbia Basin residents. The Team responded with a blog, e-newsletter, Twitter and Facebook. The Columbia River Treaty Review Twitter and Facebook page provide Basin residents with up-to-date information on the Treaty Review and, together with the blog at http://blog.gov.bc.ca/columbiarivertreaty, also provides Basin residents with an opportunity to share comments with each other and with the Province.
